Conditions We Treat

At The Pod Practice, we provide specialized treatment for a wide range of foot conditions, ensuring personalized care for every patient. Whether you’re dealing with chronic foot pain, skin and nail conditions, or require orthotics and prescription footwear, our expert podiatrists are here to help.

Expert care for a variety of foot health needs

Whether you’re experiencing discomfort, managing an injury, a problem toenail or seeking palliative care like orthotics and prescription footwear, our experienced team is here to help with personalised treatment and compassionate care.

Foot Pain Treatment

Foot pain can stem from various causes, including injuries, arthritis, overuse, or wearing improper footwear. Our expert podiatrists assess your condition and provide tailored treatments to relieve discomfort, improve mobility, and prevent further complications. Whether you’re experiencing sharp pain, aching, or persistent soreness, we’re here to help you get back on your feet pain-free.

Heel Pain Treatment

Heel pain is often linked to plantar fasciitis, calcaneal spurs, or tendon inflammation. We offer specialized treatment plans that may include stretching exercises, custom orthotics, and targeted therapies to reduce pain, inflammation, and stiffness. Our goal is to restore your foot health and ensure long-term relief so you can walk and stand comfortably.

Ingrown Toenail
Treatment

An ingrown toenail can cause significant pain, swelling, and even infection if left untreated. We provide gentle yet effective solutions to relieve discomfort, promote proper nail growth, and prevent recurrence. Our treatments range from conservative care to minor procedures, ensuring your toenail heals correctly and comfortably.

Fungal Nail
Infection Treatment

Fungal infections can make toenails thick, discolored, and brittle. We offer advanced fungal nail treatments to effectively eliminate the infection and restore your nails to a healthy, clear state. Our approach includes antifungal treatments and preventative strategies to keep your nails infection-free.

Bunion Management

Bunions develop over time due to foot structure, genetics, or improper footwear, leading to pain and joint misalignment. While we don’t perform bunion removal surgery, we specialize in conservative bunion management, including padding, custom footwear, and orthotic support to reduce discomfort, slow progression, and improve mobility.

Diabetic Foot Care
& Limb Assessment

Diabetes can lead to serious foot complications, including poor circulation, nerve damage, and ulcers. Our diabetic foot care services focus on prevention through regular diabetic limb assessments and wound management to reduce the risk of complications. Regular check-ups ensure your feet stay healthy.

Pediatric Foot Care

Proper foot development is crucial for children as they grow. We provide comprehensive pediatric foot care, addressing concerns such as flat feet, toe walking, alignment issues, and growing pains. Early intervention can prevent long-term issues and ensure your child develops a strong and healthy foundation for movement.

Elderly Foot Care

As we age, our feet require extra care to stay healthy and pain-free. At The Pod Practice, we provide expert elderly foot care services to help seniors maintain mobility, comfort, and overall foot health. From arthritis-related pain and heel pain treatment to nail care and diabetic foot care, our team ensures that every step is pain-free and supported.

Plantar Wart
Treatment

Plantar warts, caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV), can be painful and stubborn. We offer safe, effective wart treatments to remove them quickly and prevent spreading. Our treatments are designed to target the root of the wart, ensuring long-lasting results with minimal discomfort.

Biomechanical Assessment,
Gait Analysis & Orthotics

Every step you take impacts your overall body alignment and posture. Our biomechanical assessments and gait analysis help identify irregularities in foot movement, which may cause pain or discomfort. Based on our findings, we provide custom orthotics and treatment plans to improve posture, reduce strain, and enhance mobility.

Footwear Prescription

Wearing the right footwear is essential for foot health, comfort, and injury prevention. We provide footwear prescriptions tailored to your specific needs, whether you require extra arch support, cushioning, or modifications for a medical condition. Our recommendations help enhance stability, reduce pain, and keep you moving with ease.

TreatmentOptions

At The Pod Practice, we offer evidence-based podiatric care designed to treat a wide range of lower limb conditions. We focus on conservative and minimally invasive approaches to support long-term foot health and mobility.
